Do We Need Spiritual Covering?
Question: If Jesus is our covering and the veil torn, why do we need spiritual covering?
Ones definition of covering can affect your view and hence become confusing.
Whole scripture was given for balance. Jesus/God is our covering, but there are structures put in place for order. Generally, this is what they refer to (I believe). Scripture says forsake not the gathering of the brethren, not to replace Jesus our covering but a sense of gathering. Those ones enter an “atmospheric” covering spiritually likened to a banner; part of the reason we have corporate portals. That place (spiritually) becomes an open portal due to the presence of an altar. There are 4 kinds of altars that Jesus May ordain to do the work of the Spirit, that physical place hosts one of them.
Without those, you have no govt. we know the President of USA but we respect the governmental structures in each state Because they were appointed. Due to your spiritual level, you may not need help but there are multitudes of sheep who do. Leadership material is different from general consumption. God replicates Himself on the earth, every dimension of Him. His Perfect govt is revealed through arrangements, tribes of, etc yet He covers us. As a leader, John the Baptist worked directly with God (because it’s a wilderness ministry/relationship), but we will not dishonor Zacharias (His Father) ministry for the people. Also, The bride must have a relationship with Him but not everyone is interested in / that actually more than 70 percent. So Zacharias/Elizabeth had their own level of relationship with God and their work continued with the people who chose that path. God will still care for them through Zacharias. So we don’t want to dabble into things that will make people stumble out of faith, instead build up. There are people who have forsaken the gathering of the brethren because of what you have typed,
they think they can stand alone. Fellowship is both horizontal and vertical. We don’t need men to be who God wants us to be but God will use men to guide us where we have no bearing. We also are called to cover each other’s back through spiritual work such as intercession and corrections, Noah’s sons needed to cover him when he was naked, In such a case God would use a man on earth to bring down heaven, or didn’t He say we are co-heirs with Christ and colaborers with God? The law of spiritual covering is vast and you have only touched a very tiny part …but we know God is.
