  Do We Need Spiritual Covering? Question: If Jesus is our covering and the veil torn, why do we need spiritual covering? Ones definition of covering can affect your view and hence become confusing. Whole scripture was given for balance. Jesus/God is our covering, but there are structures put in place for order. Generally, this is what they refer to (I believe).
